Nevada, Iowa Meteor ~8:45 PM 20OCT2011
Sighted good-sized white meteor object ~ 8:45 PM about 4 miles south of Nevada, Iowa while driving south on S-14. probably lasted 2 seconds traveling south east approximately 55 degrees from the horizon. Since I was traveling I did not follow trail well, but appeared to leave a brief orange glow on horizon. Curious if others sighted this. -Linda Thank you Linda!
