17-Mar-2016: Large bolide seen across the UK

As reported earlier today, by UK Meteor Observation Network:
reported by  meteordetective
"Very large fireball reported by public was first noticed by our Church Crookham station at 3:16 this morning. It momentarily overloaded the camera with light and with second video we will be able to triangulate and calculate the orbit soon."

Please visit their webpage to view multiple views of the bolide, which was captured by cameras across the UK - including the Natural History Museum in London.

The Daily Mirror reports that the bolide might have been observed from Germany, too.  BBC, amongst others, are reporting on the bolide too.

Meteorites may have been produced.  Stay tuned for updates from UKMON - regarding trajectory.
