Reports from the readers of Meteor/Meteorite News:
Guest468 (guest): hi,at around 03:40 GMT here in Manchester UK I saw what seemed like a big fireball in the sky. It was definitely not a plane (too high up and too big), it was bright orange and travelling at a reasonable speed. I followed it for about 3 minutes then it faded into the horizon. Any ideas of what it might be? Thanks.
Reply- A meteor would not be visible for three minutes; my guess would be the ISS or a plane.
