If it helps, I saw it yesterday at around 7:15pm from Mass Ave. and Landsdowne St. in Cambridge MA. It was shooting from East to West to the North of me. I've never seen anything like it.
I live in Mason NH and it shot accross the sky to the north of my home in a westerly direction and broke apart into atleast 4 pieces.
I live near Albany NY. The meteor was by far the brightest I have ever seen. I traveled east to west parallel to and low on the horizon and appeared to break up just before going dark.
It was the bset show as my husband and I were entering the polls last night...it was bright, huge and low with a long 'hang time' before fading out completly at approx 7:20EST
I saw it at 7:20pm from Smithfield, Rhode Island. It appeared to break apart into 2 pieces heading VERY SLOWLY east to west. It would be my guess if anything landed, it would be western Conn.
I saw the meteor on 11/2/2010 in north metro Boston area around 7:30pm looking north. it was mving fast from east to west. It was very bright and close to the horizon; after about 5 seconds observing it, it broke into smaller pieces and died. It was an awesome sight. Not sure why I haven't heard/seen anything in the media yet...
It was seen in the Province of Quebec also. I saw it when I walk in the streets of Montreal at 7h15 PM. I was looking south-east direction.
Simon from Montreal PQ Canada
i was on the phone with my wife while sitting in a parking lot of lowes adjacent to rt 495 when i witnessed this event. it appeared to be just over the highway, low and close by. i was surprised that it traveled parallel to the horizon. it[appeared to]fizzle out right in front of me. awesome

I am amazed I didn't see any reports here in central NH. I saw it about 7:15pm on my way back to the polls on 11/2. I saw the huge ball of fire and the break up into 4 smaller pieces. So low, I figured it landed in central NH, maybe as far west as Keene.
I was traveling on 495 in Milford, 7:20 pm Tues night when I saw it...it was so low and bright and traveling parallel to the horizon...thought it was a plane on fire about to crash, as it was "sparking" orange. then I thought maybe it was a huge firework because it was election night, but then it just burnt out...it was so amazing!!! wish someone had pictures :)
My husband and I were going for a walk in Boxford, Ma and saw the meteor going East to West low in the horizon and break up into about 4 pieces. It had a long tail, very bright. About 7:30 pm.
7:15ish- I was traveling East on the Mass Turnpike at around the Lee Exit. I looked North and saw the comet like head and tail of a burning meteor. A pretty impressive meteor burn lasting a few seconds or more. The meteor traveled East to West and was located in the north sky from my location. The head broke up into pieces and the light was extinguished.
My girlfriend and I were driving on on I-95 North in Rhode Island on Tuesday, November 2. We saw what appeared to be a meteor crossing the sky from right to left, just before the Attleboro, MA border. We had left Providence around 7:10PM, so it was between 7:20-7:30 when we saw the sparks in the sky.
