Tonight, about 9:20 PM CST I saw what I can only describe as a fireball in the north northeast skies over Mena Arkansas.WOW! Thats all I can say. It appeared as five small fireballs in a circle, then to an explosion that left a LARGE fire trail going Westward. I hope someone had a camera...it was that great. -Bart  Thank you Bart!

Blue-green fireball, looking north from Gardendale (taking long exposures of north star) fireball started a few degrees above north star and traveled vertically toward the north. Appeared to tumble because it briefly flashed a blue green then gave the appearance of something tumbling in the last green flash.......I missed it by 2 min. getting it in my last shot.  Eddie S.  Thank you Eddie!

11 o'clock last night 23 August 2011, 

My neighbour and I saw, what can only be described as a bright ball of light, with a very smooth 

hill called Mount Rhodes at the northern end of Hout Bay, in Cape Town South Africa. We only saw a 2 to 3 seconds of it before brilliant blue tail shooting across the sky at a very low altitude. It seemed to have just vanished as it headed towards a little it disappeared.

Apologies for the quality of the image I through together, but its the closest I could get to represent what we saw.

Gloucestershire, UK Intense Green Flash 23AUG2011
On the 23rd of August 2011. I was driving south along the A38 in Gloucestershire UK heading towards the M5 junction 13 when I witnessed a massive green flash that started from way above then it penetrated the cloud formation lighting the clouds side ways then and intense green light below the clouds it all happened with a blink of an eye. My first thoughts were a very powerful laser. However it was way to big for that. I estimate 50-60 miles away. I've never seen any thing like it in my life. it was beautiful.
