01NOV2016 David Peterborough, ONT 8:15pm 1 sec Facing south Blue Moon No Bearing south

01NOV2016 Fred Perkins Meteor; Guelph Ontario Area About 8:25pm, I was driving south on Victoria Road, as I was crossing the bridge just south of York Road I saw, just for a second, something falling from the sky. It was a yellow, red, green ?? and it was gone. At first I thought it was a fire work but soon realized it was falling not rising. As I walked into my home, I said “know what I saw” my daughter had been travelling south on Watson Parkway and she saw it at the same time. Beautiful it was. Peace,

Initial Sighting Reports-
August 29th, 10:55pm. While traveling on Hazeldean Road between Bells Corners and Eagleson Road in Kanata, Ontario, Canada.
I glanced to the South and was shocked to see a huge lime colored ball of light shooting toward earth, perhaps at a 25 degree angle, traveling from East to West. As it came closer to earth, it quickly vanished. It was over within a few seconds I imagine. Frankly, I always thought these things were the color of stars. Learn something new every day. Thank you, Susan
I am quite sure we may have seen the exact same meteor! I was looking out my window last night from Grimsby, Ontario. I have a wonderful elevated view of the lake from this window and for only a second or so saw a bright bluish light streak across the sky, but only for a second. I saw lights from a nearby plane in the area (probably going into Toronto), but I was also thinking it could have been flares from another search and rescue on the lake. But there were no other lights and no glowing from a flare. To me it seemed to be traveling south to north, but I could be wrong because it was so brief, but definitely was in my northern sky.
Glad to read I was not seeing things!- Slick Demetrius

Initial Meteor Reports-
01NOV2015 Kemptville, Ontario, canada 5:12 pm local. Bright meteor streak that broke up into 3-4 fire balls before extinguishing. About 30• above the horizon. Tracking south west, in the sky south east of Kemptville. I suspect it fell in the area of morisburg on. Or in upper ny state - R. Big
01NOV2015 gerald stjean hawkesbury ontario 17:15 pm 5 n-e white very bright yes there where two off them at the same time
01NOV2015 Ronald McCloskey Casselman, Ontario, Canada 17:10 EST 5 seconds Left to right. I was facing East. White green streak Sun Yes N/A
01NOV2015 Barb Sherman North Grenville, Ontario Canada 17:09 5 sec east sky, moving from North to South bright green very bright , as sun large and broke into 3 pieces and then lots of small fragments This is a first this size for me
01NOV2015 David faubert Ottawa, Ontario, Canada 17:09 10 In the East going East, 30 deg altitude White Venus Yes, one piece "dropped" off and trailed it Very white, slow moving, seen by other witnesses
01NOV2015 Jill Potsaid Carlisle, MA 17:08 EST About 7 seconds It moved from right to left and angled downward in an arc. I was driving on route 3 going north. It looked bright white with maybe the littlest hint of yellow. It was brighter than Venus, it looked fake because it was so bright! It had about the same intensity as the moon. I did not see any parts falling off while It was traveling through the sky, but at the end it broke apart into little sparks and then disappeared. I wish I could have taken a picture, but I was driving. I also wasn't sure what I was looking at because it was such an intense object. When it broke into sparks and vanished it clicked with me what I was actually looking at! It was awesome!
01NOV2015 Heather Laukka Camde,ME 17:08 EST 10-15 sec North, right to left Yellow/green Very Bright, At end looked like it split into 2 Large green/yellow streak went across the sky, then went behind Ragged mountain, 10× brighter and bigger than a shooting star

18MAR2014 Greg McCarhy Kitchener, Ontario, Canadad 22:25 Eastern day light savings time 5 to 7 Seconds East to South West long tail, orange, red, blue fireball brighter than the moon could not tell It was very bright and colourful. The tail appeared very long
18MAR2014 chad Toronto 22:25:00 5sec west left to right purple green bright no amazing to see
18MAR2014 Jenna Oliver Belleville, ON, Canada 2225 Approx. 10 seconds West White ball of light that burnt up in sky Bright as moon at least Not that I could tell, but I did see other small lights or balls close to the car before I saw the meteor The meteor appeared just above the horizon; it appeared to be very close
18MAR2014 Crystal Frost MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, Canada 22:25/EST approx. 3 seconds I was facing SW. It was falling from left to right. Green glow that faded. The sound of an airplane (there's always the sound of airplanes here, though) Same as moon no Ten times the size of the brightest star in the sky before all the green burned off.
18MAR2014 Brent Toronto 22:25:00 5 NW Blue, with a little orange and red Bright enough to see over the city clearly. No It looked lower in the sky.
18MAR2014 Laura Wellington kinsman, ohio 22:25:00 approximately 40 sec south to north Huge, low, long travel life, brilliant white with long tail with bursts of reds then greens then blues then blast of white then it disappeared. was driving unsure of noises. left a huge streak of moonlit dust trail. visible for at least an hour yes yes unfortunately no pics as I was driving.
18MAR2014 Harry Pilfold TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA 22:24 / EST 3-4 sec I was facing west, came almost straight down and slightly north angle Greenish/White light / fireball Brighter than any star or planet, seen in city glow, but not as bright as moon no I have never seen anything this big or long last or bright. Crazy.
18MAR2014 Alexandre Maravilla Toronto 22:23:00 1 second South-South-West over the city of Toronto facing towards the tower from St Clair Ave East and Victoria Park Avenue Green -- Fairly bright. Maybe half the brightness of the moon and about as bright when it exploded. -- I was walking West on St. Clair Ave East (on the North side of the street) about to cross the intersection just West of Victoria Park Avenue and looking towards the CN Tower in the distance just above the houses above the street. I saw the object appear suddenly. It had a long green tail about 3 to 4 times longer than the body and was fairly large. It appeared at about the same height as the observation pod of the tower and was about the same size from my vantage point. One single explosion, though the core remained whole and faded to darkness a split second later. -- It was to the left of the tower from my view point and travelled straight toward it and downward at an almost level path. It then exploded in a round sphere of neon green that was about 3 times the diameter of the object had been before. However, there was still a bright green nucleus that remained intact for a smal fraction of a second before rapidly growing smaller and fading to black. The whole sighting lasted less than a second. There was just enough time for me to say "Whoa!" before it was over.

28NOV2013 Jo Ferns Ottawa, Ontario; West of roughly 6:30 am Eastern 3 seconds In the east sky falling right to left. I was facing South east. I saw a big ball of fire brighter than moon that was directly ahead of me It burned out and disappeared with black pieces falling down I was driving East bound on hwy 417 just west of McGee side road overpass. It was relatively low, much lower than a small plane would be. The moon was directly in front of me. The sun was rising. It lasted about 3 seconds, it looked like a rather large fire ball and burned out completely turning black with pieces falling from it. Not sure if any other drivers saw it but there were quite a few cars in the area.

Meteor Sighting Reports-
24NOV2013 Alana Ottawa, ON Approx. 7:45 and 7:55/EST/PM Approx. 5 sec E Yellow Venus As it fell towards the ground, it appeared to break apart and trail off in different directions before completely disappearing. My friend and I both saw two fireballs falling towards the ground in the Eastern direction, directly outside of Ottawa, ON at approximately 7:45 and 7:50 PM. Both lasted a few seconds and fragmented quickly, however they were both falling in the same direction, heading directly towards the ground. My friend commented that they almost appeared like bombs dropping out of the sky.
