15SEP2014 marissa fillmore, Ca USA 5AM 3 seconds at most I was facing north. It fell right to left. Saw an extremely bright light and had a tail behind it. Very bright I didn't see anything fall off. N/A

15SEP2014 Logan Orange,California, United States 4:58 AM/PST 1 second S-N, I was facing east and it came from right to the left. Very bright cometlike tail as it burned up/ A very high pitched split second whistle The tail was brighter than the moon. Not that I'm aware of. Coolest thing I've ever seen.

Eyewitness Report-
September 13th, 2014 - 8"20 pm Pacific
I was just getting up from my chair facing a big window, to look outside and I face the Burrard Inlet and Simon Fraser University from the north side....and I looked southwest to west. I saw a very bright white tennis ball size glow, as white as the moon, (maybe 1/60th of the moon in size....I tried to imagine 15 circles in one quarter of the moon.....after a while for an example...but it seemed even bigger). It came from the south east, but I noticed it as it was centre, straight in front of me to the southwest, It had a wide tail and it went from east to west.....between the Burnaby Mtn. and Capital Hill in a canyon to it's northwest.....in which Burnaby and Vancouver are beyond it directly. I watched to see if there was going to be an explosion as it seemed very low to the mountain....and very close. It took about almost 5 seconds (full seconds....ie: 1+ 2+, etc.), not too fast, but apparently it couldn't have been a comet, because they stay for days.... although that is what it looked like. I heard no sound. I had no camera. If anyone living in houses on the water in Port Moody's north side was outside, they might have seen it. If it was that high up, I imagine others may have noted it as well.- Janet B.

Looking north on the west coast of oregon object resembling a star descending quickly east to west. Bright white then red/white color to it as speed increased. Size increased based on light. It left a long tail. Died quick behind the tree line of my vison. Less than 2 minutes after, 4 helicopters lingering. First came from direct north to south, large white light on it. Saw around 8 or 9 total. Law enforcement helicopters as well. They flew at 500 ft, while assumed news/other helicopters flew around 1000 feet. Skys were busy for the next hour. Anyone else see anything? - Nick Walker

  I was searching for the past several hours for high resolution images of the recent, "Nicaragua Crater" "meteor" event 07SEP2014,  Nicaraguan crater and archiving them.
  Once they were all archived I started searching them for evidence of the source of the crater.  I was looking for metal shrapnel stuck in the trees. I have been of the opinion and have previously posted that the crater was created by a munition.
  While searching one image I found what appears to be a stony meteorite type called an Ordinary Chondrite.  The rock in question has geometry, rounded edges and a black surface which are consistent with that of a meteorite.  If it is an Ordinary Chondrite it may NOT have enough Fe/Ni metal in it to be found with a metal detector which explains why the Nicaraguan military have not yet found anything with their machines.
  One thing that is likely, the rock in question seems to be missing in all of the of the other photographs that I have examined.  I estimate that the rock/meteorite weighs 800g-1kg.  The main mass is over 500 pounds and likely up to 1 ton and remains buried below the ground.
  Upon finding this information I asked for help from Carlos Bella of Brasil to help enhance the image and to also take a look and see if I was seeing something that was not there.  Bella agrees with caution that the rock in question is not inconsistent with being a meteorite, noting the rounded edges and black surface with one small broken? area that shows the interior as being a white or light colored material. Nicaragua HAS a NEW METEORITE in their crater!?
