Confirmation Reports:
Driving south on rt 218 King George, VA.. I saw a bright white flash that turned into a green streak then broke apart, lasting 1 to 2 seconds in the southern sky. It was heading straight down. This happened at about 3:27 am on 12/22/11. I think this was a meteor but not for sure. 22DEC2011 Greg New Bedford, MA, US 3:25 a.m 2-3 sec straight down bright blue brighter than moon non parts falling off no photo

22Dec2011 Chris Brooklyn, NY, USA 3:28:00 2 sec. NE Yellow/ orange brighter than moon. not as bright as the sun on the brightest day. no unusal< and i have worked around aviation in the military.

22Dec2011 Dave Clifton Arlington, VA (Pentagon City) 0325 eastern 2-3 sec Straight down Greenish blue streak. Very pronounced visual. Wide streak. Very bright. More than moon. No parts falling off. No photo

22DEC2011 Alex Johnson Framingham, MA, USA 3:25:00 4 Seconds SW Top to Bottom Bright Yellow/Green with tail shooting straight down between Saturn and Sirius. No noise heard Sun. No No photo, was just amazed by what I saw.
