Ryan Lesniewicz:here are wat a few ppl are reporting I seen it on I75 southbound by Bass Pro...I thought it was a huge shooting star.. I Live in Liberty Center, and I seen it around 8:30pm,North and it did look like a falling star! It was a green light I seen. Looked like fireworks.! Ohio I am posting what others have seen i did not see it wish i could have. Yes I did. I was driving south in Waterville, and saw a big green light streaking across the sky at a downward angle. It stayed lit for what seemed like five seconds and it disappeared behind some trees. It was beautiful but kinda scary!!: l it was green it was moving east to west

Guest546 (guest): Old Fort, NC. ~9:00 pm est January 19,2011. Saw a green ball with fiery tail cross the sky in a downward trajectory.Very large, bright green with long tail.Never seen anything like it! Very exciting!

At 7:55pm CST, I witnessed a giant green fireball heading south through the sky. I viewed this from Barrington, Illinois, approx 30 miles NW of Chicago. Have not seen or heard any news yet. Noticed mention of near-miss objects by NASA/JPL report on the web. Not sure if this was a meteoroid or a near-miss asteroid. Any info?
