Qrendi, Malta Bright Green Meteor ~21:40 22NOV2011
Massive meteor sighted over Maqluba in Qrendi Malta. date: Nov 22 2011 Time : approximate 21.40. Colour: bright green. The meteor dropped for about 2 seconds or a little more – and as it dropped it got brighter. It was quite spectacular.
Traveling from over head to the south (from 85 degrees overhead to 25 degrees south) approximate across a quarter of the sky. brightness 100 times the brightness of Jupiter, looked like a firework. Really amazing was not sure what it was but based on similar images realized it was a meteor Regards, Matina Thank you Matina!
