Initial Meteor Sighting Reports-
25DEC2014 Dave Saranac, MI 21:35EST 5 to 10 seconds East to West Spherical glow with a tail and a dark spot in the center behind it Shere was a moon type brightness Some sparking but nothing "falling off" It suddenly got brighter and disappeared

25DEC2014 Jeff & Brandie Briggs Willis Mi pm EST 10-15 sec we were looking west large bright green almost like sun sparkled No photo were in hot tub

25DEC2014 Alice Dewitt, MI, United States 21:24 PM EST 10 North, fell from sky then disappeared Bright yellow and Reddish/orange around the edges Sun No Was quite large, fell downwards fast

25DEC2014 Stephanie Churchill Biggsville, IL and Monmouth, IL (USA) driving on route 34 Between Around 20:30CST 3-4 seconds We were traveling northeast and saw the meteor travel to the west It was a long and wide green streak; we didn't hear anything It was about as bright as the crescent moon that night None that I saw... just a long and wide green glow It was really special to see it on Christmas night!

25DEC2014 Jennifer R. Carbondale, IL, USA 20:30 PM 5 secs Right to left White Brighter than the moon; appeared like a flash falling from the sky. Not able to see. Did not have time to take a photo.
