Initial Meteor Sighting Reports-
Stephanie Rosarito, Baja California, Mexico 21:01:00 5 seconds We were facing West. Started high in the horizon, heading almost directly downward, very slightly to the left or South. Very light blue and then fireball-red/orange Almost as the sun due to the fireball. No It was amazing, never seen something like that
John Shakeshaft Jr ESCONDIDO, CA, USA 2100 SPAN OF 2-8 SEC TRAVELED MULTIPLE DIRECTIONS WHITE HINT OF ORANGE, A FEW BROKE UP WHILE ENTERING BETWEEN MERCURY AND VENUS SOME BROKE APART LARGER THAN AVERAGE NOTICED
Krystle Lord-Keller- My husband and I were walking in Costa Mesa, CA tonight and saw two large balls of fire fly through the sky. They were incredible, one was at 8:52PM and the next one was about ten minutes later. I have seen many shooting stars but this was different, it was sparkling and definetly round in shape, then it fizzled out so beautifully. The first one was more of a golden yellow and the second one was lighter in color but still bright! They were amazing.
