27OCT2016 Dan Fronefield  Peyton, CO, USA 1845 PM 3 to 4 seconds NE to SW, I was facing South. Appeared to be descending left to right at about 30-45 deg angle White with orange and blue Brighter than any planet. There was about 6-10 fragments Should have been picked up by Cloud Bait camera

27OCT2016 Jake  Parker, CO 1850 / 650pm MST 15 seconds of sight East to south/southwest Blue and white then orange spurts VERY bright blue and white like sun Yes as it got closer to ground South of Parker road and Arapaho maybe a mile, looked like it fell within 1/4 mile west of Parker Road beyond Broncos Parkway     

27OCT2016 Jeff Freeburg Costillo, NM 18:45 MST About 10 seconds. I was driving NE on NM Highway 522. The object traveled from the NNE slightly right to left about 10 to 20 degrees. Looked like it was North of Mount Blanca, east of the peak. It was near dusk behind a clould layer. The color was green-yellow. Brightest object in the sky. Didn't see any. Stopped glowing before it hit the ground.

The event was produced by a sporadic cometary meteoroid that hit the atmosphere at about 94000 km/h. The fireball began at a height of 90 km over the province of Cordoba and ended at a height of 40 km over the Mediterranean Sea.

01FEB2016 Derek Saginaw, MI 19:28 EST 3-4 seconds Facing west, it traveled right to left (so north to south); based on the increased brightness as it descended, I expect it had a slight west to east path as well The streak was white but the fireball meteor had a blue tint to it as it approached terminal velocity. At end it was approximately 4-5 times brighter than Venus None I could distinctly see the glowing outline of the meteor itself in its last 300-400 milliseconds of visibility before burning out; I estimate this occured about 30 degrees above the horizon.

Fireball recorded on 5 Dec. 2015 at 21:43 UT in the framework of the SMART Project (www.meteoroides.net). The bolide penetrated the atmosphere till an ending height of about 18 km. A small fraction of the meteoroid survived, and the resulting meteorite fell into the Mediterranean Sea.

29NOV2015 Frances Murray Draperstown, Co Derry, N.I. 2020 Approx 10 seconds West travelling east Bright ball with long fiery tail stretching out at rear, crossing very quickly across the sky. Bright as the sun, orange coloured fiery tail No Just streaked across the sky in front of us as we drove home. Lasted about 10?seconds, then disappeared.

29NOV2015 Patrick McKenny 1km east of Smithborough, Co Monaghan, Ireland 20.15 2secs before burned out, bit seemed to break off shortly before burned out. Travelling east, almost parallel to Smithborough Monaghan Road. Quite high in sky, 50 degrees above horizontal. Trajectory seemed very flat, as if would move a long way east before hitting earth. Started redish, then burned quite white, then blue/green Almost Sun bright to look at, but did not light area. Yes, seemed that 1 fragment broke off just before burned out. Burned out well before trail finished. Heading east, possily slightly south, in direction of Dundalk. Was not a meteorite/shooing star, more like large rock meteor.

  Astronomers spotted an asteroid this week after it had flown past Earth on a course that took it so close to the planet it was below the orbits of some satellites.
  The bus-sized space rock (25 feet) flew by Earth
a mere 29,500 km away.This distance is around one tenth the distance of the moon from the Earth.
  The asteroid passed just under the orbits of geostationary satellites, which at 22,300 miles (36,000 kilometers) altitude are the highest man-made objects circling Earth.
Most other satellites, along with the International Space Station, circle the planet at just a few hundred miles up.
  The space rock approached Earth from near the Sun and so would have been nearly impossible to detect prior to close passage.
  Astronomers are aware of this significant blind spot for asteroids that approach Earth while in the glare of the Sun.
  Only a space telescope could detect such objects before they arrive.
  Over the last few decades, scientists are growing increasingly concerned about the risk of a giant space rock crashing into the planet.
While the danger is very real as evidenced by the 2013 

Chelyabinsk incident near misses are actually pretty common.
NASA scientists estimate that around 20 known asteroids pass very close to the Earth every year.

  This is  tribute post to the Bunan Tribe; I was spared death as a Bunan tribesman guide kept me from dying during a climb in Taiwans Yu Shan National Park, Jia Ming Hu.  I was investigating a reported impact crater there on Dec. 23-24 some 20 years ago from funding from the Chi-Mei Foundation. - May you find this video a blessing.
