"Uma captura espetacular da estação VLW em Santo Antonio de Posse, SP, de Vinicius Lenci.
O objeto durou 4,5 segundos atingindo mag -1,2 e apresentou rastro persistente. Sua classificação foi um DLT, Lambda Taurideas Diurno, acredito no entanto que se tivesse sido triangulado o radiante real do objeto seria outro."

Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower - Brazil Live Video Transmission

Eta Aquarid Meteor Shower - Brazil Live Video Transmission w/ live chat / hangout on Google Plus from Sao Paulo, Brazil by BRAMON
LIVE AND CURRENTLY  IN PROGRESS!
Live Video Transmission of the Eta Aquarids Meteor Shower
LIVE- Transmissão ao vivo: Chuva de meteoros Eta Aquarídeas
Posted to YouTube by Ciência e Astronomia 3,298 views

The Eta Aquarídeas phenomenon occurs in the first week of May and can provide a good amount of meteors per hour. Its radiant is in the constellation Aquarius.
For 2015, the peak of this rain should occur between 5 and 6 May. But by the time the moon will be full, which should overshadow the spectacle of meteors.
The association of this meteor shower with Comet 1P / Halley was discovered in 1876 by astronomer Alexander Stewart Herschel and confirmed in subsequent years. In early May 1947 the radio telescope in the observatory Jodrell Bank in the UK for the first time detected this event in the radio portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The meteor showers do not pose risks to the Earth and occur in almost every month, some with more intensity and wide visibility.
We'll be broadcasting live on 06MAY2015 from 03:00 (Brasília time) in partnership with the Astrocan - RCP1 Bramon station in giving the direct images of São Paulo.

Tatui-SP, 09.01.2015, 15: 35h -The same was seen also in the west at Tatura, Sao Paulo, Brasilt, but in the vertical direction, the sound of small explosions came after a minute and then a stronger explosion in low volume but audible. I took photo has a stronger smoke point, this was the biggest explosion. I watched because I was looking at the sky looking for gliders, my home west is the direction of the flying club.

Fireball captured over São Paulo state, Brazil
Posted to YouTube by Carlos Bella 6 views - BRAMON

We had a new fireball, captured over São Paulo state by the PU2VLW station. The fireball was reaches magnitude -3.6, had a long duration of 4.6 seconds. He was also captured by the station in the city of Mogi das Cruzes of Marco Mastria, so we can obtain its exact orbit and trajectory. But the most interesting factor was that there was an eyewitness (Bruno Caspirro) of the fireball in the Itu city. He commented about the intense brightness of the object, its "slowness" and an intense yellow color. It was fantastic the accurate evaluating of the direction of the fireball and its altitude above the horizon. this was the type first interaction between independent eyewitnesses and video capture in BRAMON. - Carlos Augusto Di Pietro

Important note:  Meteors/Meteorites DO NOT cause fires.  They are cold to only warm when they land UNLESS they are big enough to create an impact crater and kinetic energy is released.
It was most likely an electrical fire from power lines and a power surge or transformer failure.
