People across the Southwest got an early morning show in the sky, courtesy of missiles fired from New Mexico that left a brilliant white contrail on Thursday. The twisting cloud-like formation was visible in Phoenix and Las Vegas. (Sept. 13)

Australia Reported Meteor Over Ocean NOT!  - Aircraft Contrail

  This event gathered much attention in the Australian press and claims were made in the press that this was a meteor crashing into the ocean.
  Detailed examination of the photos indicates that the "meteor event" was a sunlit aircraft contrail and NOT a meteor.
