Nashville, TN Meteor 25NOV2011

Nashville, TN  Meteor ~11:55pm 25NOV2011
I live in Nashville, TN - not sure exactly the time, but approx. midnight November 25, 2011 an incredibly bright blue/green meteor appeared on the northern horizon moving from east southeast to west northwest - a long tail glowing blueish appeared to hit the ionoshpere and illuminate a giant aurora appearing as if passing through an overcast sky - but the sky was clear - approx. 1.5 seconds total - the entry created giant greenish glow covering an area equal to a dinner plate held at arms length - i've never seen anything this bright or as huge! - it literally made the entire sky glow blue/green for an instant! - if not looking directly at object it would have appeared as if a green roman candle had gone off nearby...very shocking indeed -jeff hall Thank you Jeff!

Nashville, Tennessee, Meteor 11NOV11

Nashville, Tennessee, USA Meteor 7:45 PM CST 11NOV11
I live in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, and last night, 11/11/11, around 7:45 CST, I was sitting on my balcony which faces directly to the east. At an angle somewhere between 30 and 45 degrees up, a bright star quickly appeared and moved down and to the left, disappearing before reaching the horizon. It was the brightest one I had ever seen, and immediately I said a prayer. It was a great experience, especially considering the date.
Tonight, I've been going to different websites to learn more about whether it was a star or meteorite.
