12MAR2012 Ron Ipenburg Melbourne Australia 20:40 local time 15 seconds west yellow/red about equal to Venus yes . breaking up into 4 fragments brightness of Venus but much larger, traveling almost due east. fragmentation took place in the last 5 seconds
12MAR2012 Carlton Fry Belgrave, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia 20:42:00 10 sec Left to right (S- N) Bright yellow light - jet engine sound Same as the sun Witnessed fragment break away Seemed quite low in the sky (almost directly above)
12MAR2012 Loren w packenham, victoria, australia 20:50:00 5 sec w-e Australia bright white, going to yellow then broke upyellow between mood and sun yes had a tail, looked like something broke off
12MAR2012 Charles Q Blair Melbourne 20:50:00 5 odd seconds South to South East White & Orange, fragment breaking up Bright, thought was a plane crashing first off Yes Was awesome
