The Latest Worldwide Meteor/Meteorite News Site Traffic indicated a major meteor event over CA, AZ, NV and UT at approximately 8:40pm Pacific time on September 24.
Subsequent checking on Facebook and Twitter also indicated meteor activity (see Google Earth image about to see where observers were located).
