Ontario Meteor???? 1JUL2011

Oshawa, Ontario, Canada Meteor ~10:20pm. 1JUL2011
July 1 , 2011, 10:20pm. Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Came from east, large fireball then after 10 seconds turned north, very quickly and disappeared. The brightest object in the sky. Took pictures but the exposure was too long because of the minimal light so its one big movement of light.no sounds. yellow, then bright orange. i thought it was a flare because of canada day fireworks or an airplane on fire but too fast and changing direction was odd. Southern Ontario Canada
ON July 01 2011 over Southern Ontario Canada I saw a large glow from the south east to the north west very fast for about 20 secs. Then 14 minutes later it passed on the same path again. Captured videos but with phone and did it no justice at all. Posted on you-tube  -Anon.
Sorry I never found your video on YouTube and I don`t have your link; thanks!

Gores Landing, Ontario, Canada
We live in the small community of Gores Landing, on the south shore of Rice Lake, which is in southeastern Ontario, Canada.
On July 1, 2011 we were sitting on our deck with friends when we saw what appeared to be a bright orange ball in the sky over the lake coming toward us at a very high rate of speed. It passed over us and had a constant sound th is hard for me to explain. The best I can do, is say that it reminded to of the sound a hot air balloon makes when the gas is released into the balloon but it was constant. I managed to get a very brief glimpse through the binoculars and looked like a huge ball of fire. There were 6 of us and no one could offer an explanation of what we had just seen. I think the time was around 11 pm.  -Anon.

We live just outside Cambridge Ontario and on July 1st , 2011 at around 10:45 pm my son and I saw 2 "fireballs" cross the sky in a south to north direction. They were about 10 minutes apart and each one was visible for about 20 to 30 seconds.Hi Kim , looks like we're both trying desperately to get an explanation for what we saw , Pat
