Initial Meteor Sighting Reports-
31JUL2014 Iain gardiner Kettering uk Approx 22.30 2-3 seconds S/w facing south Orange streak across the sky very bright no sound Very bright orange No only a trail that disappeared a second after. Very bright across the sky travelling south, either very low or very big !
31JUL2014 Jessica Dumas London 10pm-10:15pm 1 - 2 seconds Not sure sorry Bright White, but too quick to be 100% Brighter than the moon It was very quick so not sure. I dont think so but there was a trail after it which lasted longer than the object which was ap[parent in the sky for about 2 seconds slowly fading. It went diagonally up which is how I know it wasn't lightning.
31JUL2014 Kate Marr Hackney, UK 21.15/BST 5 East to West Bright white trail, no ball visible,no sound brighter than the moon no Looked similar to plane contrails but no plane visible and very very bright white, as it was dusk the chance of it being a plane is slim, no plane or vapour left behind.
