Initial Meteor Sighting Report-

18JUN2014 Dan DeSandro Lafayette, LA 21:04/CST/PM 3 seconds +/- ESE/WNW While Driving: Noticed a distinct white flash similar to heat lightning, then a bright white fireball Venus possible because of flash The flash that preceded the fireball was a first for me. Wish I had a cam going for this.

18JUN2014 BRENDA JASPER TEXAS USA 9 PM CENTRAL TIME 10 SECONDS FROM NORTH HEADED SOUTHWEST LOOKED LIKE A HUGE FIREBALL, MOVING SLOW ACROSS SKY ALMOST AS BRIGHT AS SUN COULD NOT TELL First time I had every saw something like that, I have seen falling stars. It was a very cool experience.
