Initial Meteor Sighting Reports-
13OCT2013 Barbara Jones Perth WA Australia 19.05 hours Approx 3 seconds TRAVELLING WEST TO EAST Very bright white with greenish tinge. Round and LARGE. No sound. No "tail". As bright as a full moon, greenish Could not see any fragmentation I have never see anything as large nor as round or as bright. It lit up the clouds as it went through them. It looked like it was very low flying.
13OCT2013 Julie BAKERS HILL, WA, AUSTRALIA 19:00/ APPROX 4 SECONDS I WAS FACING EAST. IT FELL STRAIGHT DOWN FIRST BRIGHT ORANGE BALL, CHANGING TO BLUE/GREEN AS IT FELL JUST LESS THAN THE SUN NO WHITE TAIL
13OCT2013 Josh F Rockingham, Western Australia, Australia 1850, AWST 10 E Greenish-gold and orange Sun Unsure, appeared to have some form of short tail Spotted just after dusk, it was traveling in east-ish direction and also appeared to be traveling downwards too. I first noticed it as it lit up the clouds as it passed through several groups of clouds. It appeared to be very bright and it looked as if it was coming towards the ground and appeared to be reasonable size and traveling very fast, although it also seemed as if it were suspended in slow motion at the same time (cant explain properly.. hopefully you get it)!! cheers!
