Police investigated and contacted Township Committeeman John Carpenter whose report indicates a " crater trench" 4 feet long by 1.5 feet wide and 1.5 feet deep excavated by a "meteorite". No meteorite has been located in the debris. The bomb squad was called and explosives were determined not to have been the cause. All those houses, an "event" recorded at 11:35 AM, and no reports of an audible confirmation?
Are there nerf meteorites?
With this small a hole, the meteorite should be intact. If no meteorite is found in the hole, I doubt this is meteorite related but opt for for example lightning damage.
