Guest654 (guest): My husband, son and I were driving North of Blairsville, GA on Ga.Hwy 19/129 around 9:30 p.m. on April 7,2011, when we spotted a large meteor that was definitely headed for earth. It was very low in the sky and it was very evident that it would hit the earth somewhere in the North Ga. mountains above Blairsville, or the Murphy or Hayesville, NC area.
