Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas Fireball 16MAR2010

There was a bright, explosive fireball right around the border of Colorado, Nebraska, and Kansas on Tuesday morning (5:25 MDT) March 16. It was probably a little too fast and steep for a meteorite producer, but that remains a possibility.

Good video data allowed for an accurate path to be determined. The moderate
speed and high altitude of the terminal explosion makes me think everything
burned up, but meteorite production isn't out of the question.

I've posted a report at
http://www.cloudbait.com/science/fireball20100316.html
which includes video
from two cameras.
