The stone is too small to have created a crater of that size and meteorites do no emit light that close to ground. Also, no one but the boy witnessed his "meteorite strike".

This story is a hoax, but keeps on being perpetuated. Please retract the story or issue an update regarding this. ANY astronomer or scientist will tell you that small meteorites are NOT hot, nor traveling at extreme speeds, when they hit the ground.
