May 17, 2013: For the past 8 years, NASA astronomers have been monitoring the Moon for signs of explosions caused by meteoroids hitting the lunar surface. 16MAY2013 N Piperis Yorktown, NY, USA 22:00 Eastern maybe 3 seconds S-E Heard sound, breaking up on fire similar to the moon but was breaking up and burning Yes Moving very fast and low in the sky.

16MAY2013 Sarah WILBRAHAM MA 10:15PM EST 5 SEC SOUTH EAST ORANGE NO SOUND SUN NO IT BURNT OUT SO FAST BUT WAS REALLY COOL.
