Saw the meteor falling outside of Hazelton iowa on hwy 150 this evening falling east to west.
My husband and I were walking in Costa Mesa, CA tonight and saw two large balls of fire fly through the sky. They were incredible, one was at 8:52PM and the next one was about ten minutes later. I have seen many shooting stars but this was different, it was sparkling and definetly round in shape, then it fizzled out so beautifully. The first one was more of a golden yellow and the second one was lighter in color but still bright! They were amazing.
I was heading north just outside of Roland, IA on 600th Avenue when I saw this. It was a spectacular sight! It was moving from east to west and it glowed a stunning green color. I'm so glad I was out an about to see it! Unfortunately, I didn't have time to snap any pictures.
On December 26, 2013 I was heading south near Pokegama ave and 4th street Grand Rapids, Minnesota when we saw this bright greenish meteor streaking across the sky from east to west at approximately 5:45 pm
