Victor Weir wrote: I saw the meteor on saturday the 19th of febuary at approximately 1 am. I saw it from the river valley, near the Shaw Conference Center, facing west. I saw a white light that looked like a large aircraft was flying directly at me. The light rapidly shrunk and dimmed. The event lasted only about 2 seconds, one of which the light was large and very bright and the other where the light dimmed to nothing. Thank you Victor!

Observed at FEB 19, 1:29am MTN (by my watch).
Observed from ground level, picked up fireball at 50deg above the horizon, to end of fireball somewhere over 35deg. Appeared due W of south central edmonton, arc to south from north, but in a nearly vertical path (perhaps a 4 degree field from initial northmost acquisition to southmost burnup.)
