didimae: The Vancouver meteor on Jan.26, 2011 at 17:55pm was more like a fireball and streaked across the sky from SE to NW. It was quite low in the sky and glowed yellow-orange.
One Month ago in the sky SE of Vancouver we also saw the sky light up bright green with a loud bang at around 18:00. At first the bright green expanded rapidly upward and outward like a globe, then reduced quickly down immediately before a glowing blue light lit up that part of the sky.
Vancouver, British Columbia arrived from google.ca on "Latest Worldwide Meteor/Meteorite News" by searching for meteor over vancouver today.
