We watched it for a couple of minutes then it disappeared behind some trees, very bright tho! any ideas?? My husband thinks it was moving to slow to be a meteorite.Got a picture on my phone, but doesnt show just how bright it really was

Guest841 (guest): The flares were way brighter than the plane lights and here is the link to the TC story :describing the rescue of a paraglider at 8PM The Times colonist story says six flares were dropped in all

LunarMeteorite*Hunter Note:  A duration of 2 minutes is a bit odd.  Multiple fireballs or a single one?
Indications are that it was NOT a meteor but not enough information at this time.
