CA, AZ, NV, UT Meteor 24SEP2010 Meteor Detection System Trigger:
The Latest Worldwide Meteor/Meteorite News Site Traffic indicated a major meteor event over CA, AZ, NV and UT at approximately 8:40pm Pacific time on September 24.
Subsequent checking on Facebook and Twitter also indicated meteor activity (see Google Earth image about to see where observers were located).

Large fiery meteor over Montara Mountain at 11:15 pm heading north towards San Francisco.
Was wondering whether you had any other methods of alerting...I would have loved to have seen this...I live in CA. But only found out on Saturday 25, 2010.
